The surround sensors installed in the EDAG CityBot make self-localisation and safe movement in confined spaces possible. The system supports emergency braking functions and evasive manoeuvres at low speeds by detecting the presence of very close objects and reacting faster to dynamic obstacles that suddenly appear, pedestrians for example.<\/p>\n
